Dr. Shepherd and his P.A. Tom Swan are the absolute best in the business! They are efficient and astute as to any difficulty with which they are confronted. I’ve seen them interact with elderly people as well as children and teens. Dr. Shepherd and Tom relate perfectly on every level, making sure their patients are comfortable and understand everything about their individual situations. I have trusted them completely on more than one occasion and would not hesitate to again!
I was referred to Dr. Lucas for a calcium debridement in my left shoulder. I tried a lavage first and it didn’t work. From start to finish the experience was professional. Every staff member was friendly and helpful, it was actually a fun experience each time I visited. Ok enough of the fluff. The BOTTOM LINE: Dr. Lucas performed surgery on my shoulder. My shoulder is 100% recovered with no pain or discomfort. Strength is back to normal. I was done with physical therapy in 8 weeks and pain free. Dr. Lucas played a major role in HEALING ME! I praise God for leading me to Dr. Lucas and his team and that God’s will was for my shoulder to heal completely. Thank you Team Lucas!
I am very happy with Advanced Orthopedic and Dr. Gwyn. Everyone there is very friendly & personal; I was given a more thorough explanation of my issue and he was open to my opinions. I’m just very pleased that I found AOA, I feel like I was given better attetion and that my opinion was more valued than the other place I had been. Thank you.
The staff was courteous and friendly. Dr Lucas was personable and answered all our questions. Even though he saw us on a busy day, he took time with us and didn’t rush. He even called us later that evening to check up on my daughter. I highly recommend Advanced Orthopedics Associates!
Dr. Pappademous & his staff are awesome as usual. Advanced Orthopedics Assoc have the best doctors all under one roof. I also see Dr. Harry Morris at AOA for my left wrist. He saved me from amputation of my arm caused by a botched surgery by another doctor not at AOA. Dr. Pappademous & his PA Jamie are absolutely the best. I’ve had both knees replaced by Dr. Pappademous and would never go anywhere else, just like Dr. Morris. I’ve NEVER had a bad experience at AOA & I’ve been going there since the doors opened the first time, (longer with Dr. Morris). They have all the facilities for testings, X-rays, MRI etc., a cast room, on site Physical Therapy & are affiliated with Kansas Surgery & Recovery surgery center hooked to clinic right next door. They do both out patient & in patient surgeries there. No matter which doctor you see @ AOA, you’re seeing the best, especially Dr. Paul Pappademous & Dr. Harry Morris!.
I see Dr Sheppard and his staff at AOA. Dr Sheppard has a gentle, caring bed side manner. He explains the procedures and answers my questions. He will be my surgeon in two weeks for my hip replacement. I’m looking forward to a pain free future.

Dr Lucas is a very personable, caring physician. He listens to me explaining my aches and pains and treats it right on. He is not one to immediately suggest surgery-gives me options to consider. My son recommended him, I recommended him to my granddaughter, and then there’s me. We have all been very pleased with our care under Dr. Lucas.
