Patient Appointments

What to Prepare & Bring

Please bring your insurance card, photo ID, and any X-rays or other relevant medical reports to your visit.

Most HMOs and managed care plans require a referral before we can see you. Check with your insurance and primary care doctor if you are unsure about your referral and what will be covered.

Our Privacy Notice and Financial Policy can be accessed online. Please be aware of your insurance co-pay, deductible, and referral requirements. Payment is required if you have an unmet deductible of greater than $1,000.

Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your appointment to fill out patient information on our kiosk. You may also use our Patient Portal to complete your medical history online through our secure network. Please allocate about 1-2 hours for your appointment, as we may perform tasks such as X-rays, MRIs, custom bracing fitting, or applying casts or splints based on your specific needs. While we make every effort to adhere to the schedule, occasional delays may occur. We appreciate your understanding and patience. For additional details about our patient portal, please click here.

We are committed to furthering surgical education. As part of our involvement, we occasionally have orthopaedic residents, fellowship residents, or other advanced medical students working with our surgeons in the office.

Our appointment desk is open from 8 am until 5 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 8 am until noon on Friday. Each doctor has office hours at certain times during the week. Our appointment staff will help you choose the most convenient time for you.

Be sure to confirm which location you are scheduled. AOA has offices in East Wichita, West Wichita, and Wellington.
