Dr. Bollinger is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery who joined AOA in August 2017.

Dr. Bollinger is originally from Omaha, Nebraska, and earned his medical degree with distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Michigan State University, before finishing his hand and upper extremity fellowship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where he was mentored by some of the nation’s top hand and shoulder surgeons.

Dr. Bollinger’s specialty training focuses on trauma, reconstruction, nerve compression, and other disorders of the hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, and shoulder. He has given many presentations at regional and national meetings and enjoys staying up-to-date with new research and innovative techniques to help his patients improve their quality of life.

Outside of his professional activities, Dr. Bollinger enjoys golfing, running, cycling, swimming, and—most importantly—spending time with his wife, two little boys, and their golden retriever.
