Hayley L. Jansson, MD

Dr. Jansson is a fellowship trained and board certified orthopaedic surgeon, specialized in adult and pediatric sports medicine.

Dr. Jansson is from Wichita, KS, and attended Wichita Collegiate School. She earned her undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, where she competed on the Division I women’s rowing team.  She then spent the next nine years in Los Angeles, CA, completing medical school at the University of Southern California and orthopaedic surgery residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.  Following residency, Dr. Jansson completed fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at the University of California, San Francisco.  For pediatric patients, she has spent additional time training at Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas, TX, gaining further education in treating the young athlete and using growth plate sparing techniques.

After completing her fellowship, Dr. Jansson served as an active duty physician in the U.S. Air Force.  She was stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, AZ, serving as staff orthopaedic surgeon and medical director for orthopaedics.

Dr. Jansson is thrilled to be returning home to Wichita alongside her husband and two children.  She is the daughter of now-retired Dr. Kenneth Jansson, a well-known and respected orthopaedic surgeon in Wichita.  She is excited to continue the “Dr. Jansson” name and service to the community!
