Dr. Shepherd

Dr. Shepherd is a fellowship trained and board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in knee and hip replacement. He was born and raised in the Wichita area and graduated from Goddard High School. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Kansas Medical School and completed a 5 year residency at the University of Kansas – Wichita.

Dr. Shepherd joined AOA after completing a total joint reconstruction fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, which is amongst the most prestigious joint replacement centers in the world. He specializes in partial knee replacement, total knee replacement, total hip replacement, robotic-assisted joint replacement, and revision hip and knee replacement.

Dr. Shepherd and his wife, Lauren, enjoy playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
